Wonga Estate is a small family operated Winery & Vineyard  producing ultra premium hand crafted pinot noir, chardonnay and shiraz wine.
Wonga Estate operates a cellar door, conveniently located at
204 Jumping Creek Road,
Wonga Park situated at the entrance to the
Yarra Valley Wine Region between the Warrandyte State Park and the Heritage Golf and Country Club and Sebel Lodge.



Wonga Estate celebrate the successful introduction of our newest wine - The Fugue
A composition of Wonga Estate's award winning Heathcote Shiraz and Yarra Valley Pinot Noir which have gradually built up into a complex form having somewhat distinct stages of development and a marked climax at the finish.

2006 The Fugue is an elegant but quite complex medium bodied palate of red berries, plums and cherries, well integrated oak with a silky texture to the fine and savoury tannins with cellaring potential to 2015

2005 Pinot Noir Promotion

The best dish complementing the Wonga Estate 2005 Pinot Noir
Chill on Tedder’s promotional dish, Crispy Duck Leg Confit, braised red cabbage, truffle scented mash, buttered baby spinach, confit duck and sweet potato boudin, white raisin jus, is of first class.
The initiative, enthusiasm and attention to detail is certainly shown in this dish. The duck was crispy as stated, and accompanied with the truffle mash, red cabbage and white raisin jus.
I believe was a perfect marriage to the Wonga Estate 2005 Pinot Noir.
This dish brought out some lovely plum and cherry characters in the pinot noir with a long savoury finish at the end.

About our Wine
Greg and Jady Roberts have a simple philosophy of producing premium cool climate pinot noir and chardonnay from low yielding estate grown vines (less than 2 tonne to the acre). The vines are French clone pinot noir and chardonnay meticulously maintained and the fruit is non-irrigated and hand picked. Wonga Estate combines modern technology and old world winemaking traditions. The wine is basket pressed, minimally filtered and matured in French oak barriques for a minimum of twelve months. The Winery
In 2002 Wonga Estate contracted from Heathcote the purchase of fruit sourced from low yielding dry grown old vines planted in Heathcote’s rare Cambrian soil.
The Wonga Estate Heathcote Shiraz has now been added to the portfolio.
Hand picked, open fermented and basket pressed, the wine is aged in French oak barriques for a minimum of 24 months.
